Join Us on Our Ongoing Journey to Student Success
Compass to 2025 is the proposed strategic framework of Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS). We've come a long way over the past year, and your participation and feedback has been valuable in designing this framework. Along the way we have engaged with you - our students, teachers, administrators, parents, business and community representatives - for insight and input. Through community meetings, a virtual town hall, the convening of a community Strategic Plan Committee, and several strategy development sessions we have drafted Compass to 2025 to lead us into the future.
We want to hear your thoughts on our proposed framework. Please take a moment to review the framework and leave a comment in the Virtual Town Hall. You can also learn more about the strategic framework at the Navigating the Journey Fair on Thursday, Oct. 17.
Next steps for the proposed framework include compiling the public feedback, making any necessary adjustments and presenting it to the School Board for consideration in November.
